I recently Purchased this 2046W tender. It was made in 1952, and I may be expecting too much from it. It has a loud chatter when the motor runs. I disassembled it, Cleaned and polished the communicator on the motor, as well as checked and lubricated the bearings. It is a little better but it still seems loud to me.
