Takeoff test or RTO test. Real pilots would be forced with this scenario if an engine cut out at rotation speed or if there obstacles on the runway that required the aircraft to abort its takeoff roll. The reason that the aircraft was required to taxi/stand for 5 minutes after the test was that becuase the 777's brakes had heated up to 3000 degrees farenheit, 5 minutes was the usual amount of time it took for fire trucks to be able to reach the aircraft.
