Please let me make it clear, I dont shape my techniques with kata techniqu to the makiwara the makiwara is after all said and done a plank of wood for spanking. I experiment with all the methods and it is for me a creative canvas not a dead tradition. So you can tell me Im hitting it in all the wrong ways becuase its relative to your dogmas traditons and techniques.
