Baruani wint de Internationale Kindervredesprijs 2009
De 16-jarige Congolese Baruani Eustache Ndume ontving op 3 december in de Ridderzaal in Den Haag de vijfde Internationale Kindervredesprijs. Baruani is wees en woont in een vluchtelingenkamp in Tanzania. Hij maakt een radioprogramma, Children for Children, over de vele problemen waar hijzelf en andere jonge vluchtelingen mee te kampen hebben. De Kindervredesprijs is een initiatief van Stichting KidsRights.
