The Ancient Mariner was an ex-Coast Guard vessel called Nemises. The Nemises was built as a Prohibition Runner but never had the chance to chase rum runners as prohibition ended in 1933, She was decommissioned on November 20, 1964, and sold to Auto Marine Engineers in 1966.
