The Copenhagen Municipality has purchased 25 new electric vehicles to replace their old gasoline and diesel vehicles. The replacement of petrol and diesel cars with electric and hydrogen vehicles will both reduce noise and improve air quality in Copenhagen. Prioritizing electric vehicles is just one step in Copenhagen's strategy to reduce CO2 emissions in the city by 20% by 2015. The long-term objective is to make Copenhagen fully CO2 neutral by 2025.
