Dog Rescue
Mat-Su Animal Control, a local EMS unit, and myself rescued 6 dogs and 6 pups that had been abandoned at a remote campsite about 10 miles off the road system just south of Talkeetna, Alaska. The owners were found trying to walk out of camp and suffered severe frostbite. The dogs were left without food, water, or shelter except one female who had just given birth to 6 pups just days earlier, she was tied up inside the tent.
