Damon Albarn personal favorite digi-nihilistic band, Crytal Castles, flew all the way from Canada to support the opening act. The singer, Alice Glass, wore a t-shirt with "Oasis has AIDS" written on it (a tongue-n-cheek jab at Oasis who performed later the following week at Wembley Stadium). The opening acts is closed by Foals.

Amadou and Mariam were one of four support acts at the Blur gig in Hyde Park on Friday 3rd July. They seemed to go down very well with the crowd. Sadly i didn't manage to catch the name of this song. If anyone does, please leave a comment and let me know! My friends and I couldn't quite work out how Blur had managed to get Amadou and Miriam to play at their gig, but it turned out that Damon Albarn actually produced one (if not more) of their albums. Sorry, the video itself isn't the best ...
