Fuller was one of the most popular of the recorded Piedmont blues artists with rural Black Americans, a group that also included Blind Blake, Josh White, and Buddy Moss. Blind Blake was a vocalist and ragtime blues fingerpicking guitar player, who recorded 79 tracks for Paramount alone between 1926 and 1932. He was enormously influential on guitarists who came after him such as Blind Boy Fuller, and is still an influence today (see the numbers on You Tube picking out his songs! Good on them!).
