working on my oil painting called "Lovers Embrace" I took some time to video tape a small segment of the process I am using for the secondary layer. Using a mix of Alizarin Crimson, Light Red, and linseed oil, I worked on the bottom background of this image. Using a mix of that and Ultra-Marine Blue, I worked on the upper part of the background. This allows the center of the piece to pop out.....the dimensionality of which I will provide in the third layer...
