Channel 31 News Open, Fall 1987

This is the opening from the fall semester 1987 "Channel 31 News" show that was produced by students in Steve Coon's Journalism 356 class and by R-31 student crew. The program originated in the Exhibit Hall studio -- which was in operation until fall semester, 1999. The camera pedestals are still in use in the Communications Building Studio B. I do not know who shot and edited this video. I saved a box of tapes from Exhibit Hall before it was torn down. I wish I had saved more....
