The Funkstown Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of one of their own. William Irwin Dieterich of Hagerstown passed this past Saturday at Washington County Hospital. Bill was a Life Time Member of the Funkstown Fire Company. He first joined our department back in the mid to early 70's. Bill was a well known member in the fire service throughout Washington County.
