Feedback Test Four

Another feedback test, this time using the MX12, Sony Colour Corrector and the Alta Pyxis (which fortunately seems to have a timebase problem). This is a live experiment with no edits using single camera optical feedback, electronic feedback (within the Alta Pyxis) and a fair bit of mucking around with wipe patterns

Feedback Test Three

Optical feedback this time using the tried and tested simple camera-monitor setup, with a Sony colour corrector in the feedback loop for a little extra flavour. The video here shows four different experiments, the music, as always is The Stepford Rejects "Bouillon Logic"
Feedback Test Two (Dedicated To Oliver Postgate)

Dedicated to Oliver Postgate (and not forgetting Pete Firmin !!!) The video is a live feedback test using the Panasonic MX12 - i've put three edits in there, but the footage was recorded live on 8th December 2008. the soundtrack is "Solartron Forever" by psychoacoustic soundclash which features lyrics in Clanger towards the end of the track. Oliver: we'll be eating blue string soup in your honour

Autopong II

It's back! Autopong is a modified Velleman MK121 video game. The paddles switches are controlled by a pair of custom built voltage controlled relays which allow the game to be 'played' by a modular synthesiser. Autopong III will be along in the next couple of weeks with the modular control patch (and hence match play) improved upon, along with the audio patching...

Dr Universalis - "Radar Jamming"

Radar Jamming evokes a chance meeting between Hedy Lamarr and Alan Blumlein. Thanks to the wonders of ebay this video was recorded live (okay there are two edits i made afterwards) from a Panasonic WJ-MX12 video mixer about 23 minutes out of the box
