The Journey - Cycling Sing Song

The Journey - Cycling Sing Song

Ok I have certain musical talent, but absolutely no singing ability. It was a very wet morning, and I was singing along to my tunes on my Ipod while cycling and doing some filming. When I played this clip back I realized how tone deaf I really am, and how little I know these lyrics. Here is my legend in my own lunchbox rendition of New Sensation by INXS.

The Journey - Wales to Scotland

The Journey - Wales to Scotland

I spent the month of August traveling the rolling hills of Wales and the rugged parts of Scotland. It was stunning landscape and often a challenging cycle. My favorite moments was riding the top of the peaks along West Coast of Wales. The climbs werent easy but I always had the valley on the other side. The adrenalin rush of racing down the hill faces at lightening speed, whilst having the coastline, cliffs and paddocks to take in was just spectacular!

The Journey - Leaving Bristol

The Journey - Leaving Bristol

It was the last day of July 2009, and it was hug and goodbye time. Emma; who had given me a home or 3 months, waved well wishes from her doorway as Dave drove down the road heading for Wales, with me in the front and my bike in the back. I had welcomed the offer of a liftshare , especially after two weeks of what had been at times terrantial rain. Dave was able to drop me just outside Cardiffs borders, and I put on my water proofs and began to cycle.

Emma had been amazing and come to my rescue with the offer of a rent free room in her home in Bristol. It was an offer I couldnt refuse and for the three months I spent there, it allowed me to focus on getting the project up and running. In return I tried to help her with renovations on the house, her allotment and the Bristol Green Store. Whilst in Bristol I also had the pleasure of filming the Kebele Bike workshop, which is run by a small group of volunteer bike mechanics, they repair the ...

The Journey - London to Bristol

It all really started when I met some very special people whilst filming the first films of the project in Bristol in December 2008. One of those persons was Emma.
