I am a total sucker for pokemon. I had planned on not buying Pokemon Rumble, but after seeing all the little pokemon I couldn't resist. That's alright; turns out it is a very decent game. Kenta dons his cool Spartan gear for this video, with a silly egg-eyed twist. To aim for a diameter above 904m50cm in this stage, it is very useful to pick up things that would otherwise disappear as the katamari grows. A lot of stuff, like Gigantic Trees, disappears at 150-160 meters, and other stuff including the tiny Tsunami Islands disappears later, somewhere above 400m I think. Much thanks goes to snapdragon; I largely used his classic route for the first few minutes.

This is very much the same way I shoot for diameters in this stage in We Love Katamari (well, except that it's in Drive mode :D ). I think this would have wound up being just under 3637m, or possibly just over, in WLK. Once I'm 800m or so, I shoot for nothing but small stuff in the water for quite a while. My main focus at that point is the little whirpools that will disappear at somewhere around 1500m. Later on, it seems to help diameters to pick up the King and Queen as early as possible ...

This is how I roll to over 24m93cm in this stage. Mostly I try to miss as few things as possible that are human-size or larger. Some important things to remember to get are the people and gas pumps at the gas station, the falling rocks, and the vehicles and elephants on the short stretch of road way up high. (As far as I know I only got 3 of the 4 falling rocks this time, though.) Also, there are a few worthwhile things that disappear at 5 meters. I got the chairs and stuff by the baseball ...

One extremely useful thing that helps to reach 2 million kilometers is to play through all the co-op levels in all three modes, adding nine more planets to the Cosmos. This increased my diameters from 1997000km to 2005000km. This route is actually terrible if you want points in this stage ... notice I got a D at the end of the video, lol. Well, at least I think it's a glitch. If the katamari drops an item in Make a Star 2 - Calories, the calorie count does not decrease. Pick up the item again, and you get credited for the calories again. seamonkyng told me that this level "can be glitched." This is probably what he meant :) This video is in Eternal mode. I assume a person could use this to increase their score in other modes, but doing so is challenging. The highest calorie items I know of to do this with are the huge wedding ...

This is nowhere near a complete guide. 88 on Classic requires you to pretty much scour the entire level of big items, and to grow large enough to pick up items like the Baby Whale.
