Kes on a vintage Carousel with Brass Ring - Balboa Park, San Diego, October 31st 2009

This is a vintage carousel built by the Herschell-Spillman Company in 1910. It is one of the few left in the world with an original functioning brass ring mechanism. Although there are enough iron rings available for most riders to grasp, there is only one brass ring, and whoever gets the brass ring wins a free ride. In this video, the little girl in the yellow shirt graps the coveted brass ring at about the 40 second mark. This carousel is located in Balboa Park, San Diego.
