Coventry Civilian War Grave / Remembrance Garden

The site of the communal grave for victims of air raids during World War Two. In addition to the local population, thousands of people from all over the UK and Ireland worked in Coventry's factories during the war. No one was safe from Nazi bombs. Raids began in June 1940 and by the end of October 1940, casualty figures were 176 dead and 229 seriously injured.
