During the 56 day performance, "56 Days: I'm Still Here", I documented each sewing session, which varied from 15 minutes to 2 hours in duration. Sound Reactive Nightgown

The nightgown reacts to high voice levels and was made as a result of the 56 day performance titled, "56 Days: I'm Still Here." The nightgown illustrates increased sensitivity within the relationship. The microphone, located near the left shoulder of the gown, requires a loud noise to trigger the garment.

The first week of the performance piece, "56 Days: I'm Still Here" by Sarah Layne Soriano. The video shows one week of adding layers to a suit after evaluating my interaction with my spouse during the previous day. Pieces of suits, that are variations of gray, are added to an original suit everyday for 56 days. This video has been sped up to 2000 percent.
