A womans clothing restricts and shapes perceptions of her identity. This exhibition catalogs 56 days of performance, throughout which Soriano examined the struggle to resist or accept gender roles within the confines of her relationship.

During the 56 day performance, "56 Days: I'm Still Here", I documented each sewing session, which varied from 15 minutes to 2 hours in duration. During each session I would reflect back on the previous day and assess how positive or negative the interaction was with my spouse. This documentation shows one row of video for each of the 8 weeks. The nightgown reacts to high voice levels and was made as a result of the 56 day performance titled, "56 Days: I'm Still Here." The nightgown illustrates increased sensitivity within the relationship. The microphone, located near the left shoulder of the gown, requires a loud noise to trigger the garment.
