Epic Milestone - Scott and Gayle 5th Anniversary in HD
What can I say, 5 great years of epic love, against all odds. Today our love shines brighter than ever. We decided to celebrate with a stay at one of Portland's few 5 Star hotels, The Hotel deluxe Portland. Dinner at Gracies' was wild boar and pork medialions. My honey got me some technology that I have been wanting, in return I provided a little sparkle for her finger.

Epic Israel - remix of 2006 trip to Jerusalem
While working for Intel I had the amazing opportunity to travel over to Israel and visit their facilities there. It was transformative. You can doubt the existence of YHWH (or Jehovah or God) or the historicity of the Bible all you want - but when you walk in the streets of Jerusalem, walk the Via Dolorosa, see the history of the Bible, touch the stone, listen to the language. Epic November - Trip to the Great Wolf Lodge
Gayle and I took Desiree, Shelby and all the kids to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound Washington. Between Magiquest, Theater, The Waterpark, Arcade, gr_8 Space, Spa and all the great things to see and do. It was just... an EPIC time with our clan. In the words of my son, Elric... "It was the best Thanksgiving ever."

Epic Ally - Golf outing with old friend at Mint Valley GC

Epic Hiking - Trip over Father's Day weekend on Hwy 34
Gayle, Hillary, Elric and I took a wonderful drive up highway 34 through the Oregon Coastal range over Father's Dad weekend. We just drove and hiked, just enjoying each others grand company. What a great thing it is to have great kids and a wonderful wife, I feel so sorry for those that will never know the feeling of looking into the eyes of their own blood kin and seeing themselves reflected back. Epic Irish - The Kilted Yank goes to the West of Ireland 2002
While working at Mentor Graphics, I attended an IT conference. My good bud Sean Boyle was kind enough to show me around the lovely and wild west coast. The trip culminated with the feast at Bunratty Castle. I do love that little island.
