One doesn't necessarily gain better balance by standing on one leg or even on a unstable platform. The best way to improve balance is by enhancing joint mobility, increasing power(strength), and enhancing coordination. This simple exercise showcases one of the MILLIONS of ways to improve balance thru motion, not stillness. This exercise is made for anyone, and can be made much easier or MUCH harder by tweaking the feet, speed, distance, and load. Contact me for any questions.

Please step out far as to actually feel a lengthening in your inner thigh area. Tweak with the arm drivers as appropriate.
