´´The accursed snake`` (το καταραμένο φίδι), op.5, is a ballet suite mixing various elements of greek folklore mythology and music. Hadjidakis composed it in 1949-1950. It was first presented by the Greek Ballet Theatre of Rallou Manou in 1951.
