For Tyson an apprenticeship is the perfect balance of on and off the job training. The combination of theory in the classroom and hands on experience in the workshop gives him the fundamental skills required to build high quality steel objects from scratch.

After completing a Certificate III in nursing Lewis realised he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father and become a bricklayer. Lewis enjoyed learning new skills at TAFE and being able to implement them in the workplace.
