To celebrate her husband Martys 40th birthday, Amy asked me to create a cake that would represent Martys favorite things (at the moment). A Blackberry, no surprise there, and Perry the Platypus from Phineas & Ferb, and of course Marty needed to be in there. The phone was the fun part on this one, each key was hand cut and hand painted, along with the other buttons, ports, and logos. All in all just what Amy was looking for. Happy Birthday Marty!

My dear friend, PR Agent, and all around great guy, Jason Brown of Public City PR wanted to surprise his dad with a Corvette cake for his 65th birthday. I was a little reluctant at first, with the Corvette being such an iconic car, but hey, I never back down from a challenge! In the end, it was a little bit more of a cartoon-ish corvette, but all in all I thought it was pretty cute. Jasons dad loved it, and thats what really matters.

To celebrate Alexs 8th birthday her mother Julie had us make a ballerina cake that also showed off some of her favorite things including her dog Chewie, Hannah Montana, and Junie B. The ballerinas dress was a special dairy and nut free cake just for Alex, while the bottom cake was 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 vanilla with swiss buttercream. Everything as usual was edible! Happy Birthday Alex.

Ive had the idea of doing a Super Mario cake in my head for a while now, and I have to thank Jennifer for coming to me for her son Michaels birthday cake. Hes a huge Super Mario fan, so I got to finally let out my inner Mario! The cake was a traditional Marble cake with swiss buttercream. Happy Birthday Michael!

Ive been looking forward to making this cake since the order was placed in August! This was for Amy's daughter Mias first Birthday. I was given creative license to make a cake that represented a Farm and included the family cats Mac & Cheese. I just loved everything about this cake right down to the tail feathers on each little duckling. I hope that it made for a memorable 1st birthday for Mia!

This is a cake that I did for a local cupcake bakery to sit as the top of a cupcake tower for a baby shower. Nothing too extravagant, but I'm really pleased with the look of the pregnant girl. Hope you enjoy it.
