4-20-1999. One of the more memorable Laker games of the 90s. This game happened on the day of the Columbine High School shootings, Chick mentioned that all the games that night should've been postponed. This was the lockout season, LA didn't have a great year. They went through the trade of Van Exel, the firing of Harris, the signing and dumping of Rodman, the trade of Eddie Jones & Elden Campbell for Glen Rice and JR Reid, all in a 50 gm semi-season. Lakers @ Mavs, 2006
12-12-2005. DJ M'benga and Josh Powell were Mavs this season. Kobe tests DJ at the rim. The Lakers did well here, but this wasn't the norm. This was easily one of the 5 best games played by this roster, even Kwame contributed.

Lakers w/ Caron, Odom, Mihm - 2004/05
10-16-2004. Preseason game featuring the new crop of Lakers: Caron Butler, Lamar Odom, Chris Mihm, Chucky Atkins, Jumaine Jones, Sasha Vujacic, and Rudy Tomjanovich. I'm not uploading this for entertainment value, but only as a sobering reminder of the roster only 5 yrs ago.

Malone & Payton's 1st gm as Lakers
10-07-2003. Preseason debut of Karl Malone and Gary Payton as Lakers. Also the debut of the great rookies Luke Walton and Brian Cook. Kobe was not there, he was tending to his legal issues. Shaq mentioned to reporters that, "The team is all here," causing Kobe to respond with a statement calling Shaq out for all the times he missed games due to "phony" injuries.
