Shayna LOVES the water. She starts smacking me as soon as she sees the bath water in anticipation of being able splash the water. She also loves showers as she always gets this silly grin on her face when either one of us takes her in the shower. We also use it to calm her down when she gets hysterical because her belly hurts or something like that.

Shayna is generally obsessed with carpet these days as she can't figure out how to pick it up to put it in her mouth so she can understand what it is. The patterns in this carpet are particularly vexing. She also loves to take things out of containers. I routinely fill that bowl up with stuff which instantly becomes 10x more interesting.

Oct 13: I took this mirror off the wall so Shayna could check herself out without someone always holding her. The mirror now needs cleaning as she like to kiss herself with big, open mouth, baby spit kisses.
