Thousands of Vaux's Swifts return to their nighttime roost in a chimney at 17th and Agate in Eugene, Oregon on August 30, 2009. I recently bought a new HD video camera, a Canon Vixia HF S100. This is my first project with the new camera. I shot this footage on two evenings in and around Mendocino Village, on the north coast of California.
