Hologram Pop Up - Devils Angels & Dating - CG Short Film
devilsangelsanddating.ning.com This is a test of the animation and rendering for the hologram. I think it's running a little fast, and the colour may be a little washed out, but it's great to see it coming to life. This Hologram projects out of a Peep (which is a representation of a human on Earth), and shows their dating profile and compatibility with the Peep it's been coupled with. This is an example of a successful coupling.

devilsangelsanddating.ning.com I've changed the conclusion of the battle to build up the tension somewhat and make the fight more significant for Devil and Cupid, while giving Devil more scope to perform and show us how strong he's becoming. I also added a reaction from Devil earlier in the story to the power of Death's wand and the level of the thread she represents. I have a long list of other story notes to address so there's more to come. As always, feedback is very welcome....

Devil Dynamic Hair - Devils Angels & Dating - CG Animation Short
devilsangelsanddating.ning.com This is a showcase and test of combining keyframe animation with the jiggle deformer. As you can see the Jiggle doesn't work entirely on it's own and looks unnatural on lengths of hair, so key framing is required (unless we apply a dynamic solution as well). But the Jiggle does add a subtle level of additional life to the hair at a value of between 0.6 and 0.75.
