Well... I was bored one night and got this crazy idea to do a fursuit dance to "Down" by Jay Sean. I LOVE this song! I will be the first to admit I'm not that good of a fursuit dancer but this was meant to be more just for fun than to show off my moves ;) I'm most happy with the way the end turned out. Forget stuff like Tae-Bo... dancing in a fursuit is the most strenuous workout imaginable! Shot from a few different angles for variety.

Here's a video of the two lions currently in Woodland Park Zoo's lion exhibit - Hubert and Kalisa, 9-year-old South African purebred lions that the Assocation of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) has given the permission to breed in the hopes that they will produce cubs. The first part of the video was shot in late July, and the latter half in October. Batu and Gobi were born on Memorial Day, May 28, at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo to first-time mother 4-year-old Helen. They were 5 months old at the time of this video. Their birth was a significant achievement for the zoo as they represented wpz's initiative in taking part in the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' Species Survial Plan for the endangered species, ensuring genetic diversity for captive leopards.

About 20-25 of us Fur-Lifers showed up this year to our favorite Halloween haunt, Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, WA for some fursuiting fun. We had a total of 11 suits this year! I bowled my fourth career 300 game on October 29 at West Seattle Bowl during a practice session where I was working on my game and doing equipment testing. I decided to throw my Columbia 300 Wrath XP, drilled by Pete Ekonomakis at WSB. Every shot in the 300 game is presented in order and is completely legitimate, the only cuts you see are to prevent you from waiting 15-20 seconds in between shots while I take a break or re-rack.

Here's something a little different than what I usually post, but as many of you know teh lion LOVES bowling - here I am practicing at West Seattle Bowl and testing out some of my equipment showing a few different angles to see how each ball reacts. 12 furries converged on the city of Bellingham, WA, just south of the Canadian border, for October's What(com County) Furs meetup which consisted of fursuit bowling at 20th Century Bowl in downtown and a fun romp, out of suit, that involved ice cream, a hot dog stand, and a porn store. Redclaw the Otter, Bolezhevot (skunk), and the two lions Kijani and Ithabise invade Issaquah's Salmon Days Festival on October 3. This outing didn't go exactly as planned, as we got kicked out about 45 minutes after arriving at the grounds by security staff, saying that we needed to have some sort of sponsorship in order to be in costume.
