Its hard to pin point this bands genre because they are all over the board with grind, math metal, doom, sludge, death metal and more. Back to the list of requested album reviews, today we have Pig Destroyer - Terrifyer on Relapse Records. Very raw and intense grind I must say. Terrifyer is that turning point for Pig Destroyer where their sound gets alot cleaner sounding making it a tad more accessible for new listeners. Another fun requested Track Review for you fine viewers. Today we have Scars by Forgotten Tomb from the album Springtime Depression. Forgotten Tomb is a depressive black doom metal band with very strong depressive, suicidal themes. Here we go again with ANOTHER requested track for All Shall Perish's Black Gold Reign. WHY MUST YOU GUYS TORTURE ME! Today's track review was a requested one for The Chainheart Machine by Soilwork on the album The Chainheart Machine. Soilwork was always one of those bands for me that was just "there". Devin Townsend Project - Addicted was released November 17th 2009 on HevyDevy Records. This is the 2nd of a 4 album project Mr.Townsend is doing. This is Devin creating amazing music NOT on drugs! Addicted sounds like a heavier Devin Townsend Band with moments being very melodic and catchy. Awesome guitar sound as always, great female vocals with classic Devin style vocals.
