It's me playing the 'head' for John mclaughlin's track Luki from the Saturday Night In Bombay live album. Hope you like the way it's played. It's set against a metronome to highlight the rhythmic accents and phrasing against a bar of four. It always feels like it's going out but it lands on the one quite suddenly. Very typical Mclaughlin!

Each pattern has a formula that starts like this; up a diatonic 4th, up a diatonic 3rd, down a diatonic 3rd, up a scale step, down a scale step, down a scale step, down a diatonic 3rd.
