fcpl's Jobannie C. Tabada in the last few moves of an unfortunate final-round loss to eventual champion and top-seed GM Yuri Drozdovskij of Ukrain. A blunder by Drozdovskij allowed Tabada to go two pawns up in the middlegame, but the FCPL player returned the favor with an inaccurate defensive move that gave Drozdovskij a crushing attack and the championship.
