Since A7X does have some decent songs for X+ (there is a general lack of drum charts available compared to guitar charts) I took the time to edit one more video due to The Rev's recent passing. For extra effect I decided to exclude vocals, rhythm and bass. I was going to only have drums first but decided to go with guitar as well. Again I've mad the chart available for download. Have a happy new year and whatnot. Only resolution I make for this channel is to try to still keep it interesting and as active as I can. For the last video of 2009 (of a total of roughly 300 videos this year) I spontanely picked Soothsayer. A nice long guitar solo and none of these insane X+ songs that has otherwise dominated full band videos. James Owen Sullivan (also known as The Rev) died yesterday (Monday 28th December 2009) as of yet unknown causes. He was the original drummer of Avenged Sevenfold Like I did with both Michael Jackson and Michael Alexander (the bass player in Evile) I accordingly upload a video related to them. While I myself ain't a huge fan of Avenged Sevenfold, if barely a fan (mainly because I can't stand M. Shadows singing), I will admit that the Rev was quite a good drummer. Top 20 Mainstream Metallica Songs (Part 1)
all of this is obviously my opinion Mainstream Metallica means any song released after and including the Black Album. Part 2 will be up sometime in early January Technically you could count both One and Escape as mainstream but I do not because I wanted to make a top #X list not just focusing on the 80's.
