My apartment complex is cutting down ALL of our trees because of root damage to the parking garage underneath them. :( Every tree you see in this video will be gone. I'm TOTALLY pissed about it.

Overnight sailing trip on the weekend of June 6-7, 2009. We set sail out of Alameda, cruised around the bay, tied up at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon, ate dinner on the boat, went on shore for drinks, came back to sleep on the boat. Woke up, cruised around Angel Island and the bay more, then returned to Alameda. On the boat were Doug Rank, Jason Goecke, Chad Womack, Richard Tyrrell, and me (Jay Phillips).

My friend and I created this video as sophomores in high school for our Photography II class in Beaumont, Texas. Not quite knowing what to film, we found Garret's cat (formerly a stray) photogenic enough to follow around for an afternoon. Sadly, this beautiful unnamed cat ran away a few days after this video was shot. Come to think of it, the human paparazzi thing probably didn't help convince it to stick around. :) You'll notice some of the shots are closeups in a tree. Despite its efforts ...
