An old song of mine I never recorded, here played on my excellent 1920s Regal tiple (tee-play), what is essentially a 10-string (steel strung) tenor ukulele. This is just a little bit of improvisation so you all can hear this mandocello I've put together from a 1960s vintage Harmony-built archtop. And yes, that "natural reverb" is "natural reverb" and not something in the mix. This thing sounds incredible. Big, big, big tone. I never expected it out of this guitar, either, which is an all-solid birch guitar throughout with pressed back and top, rather than carved. Here's a bit of improvisation on this lovely Portuguese guitar (unmarked, very nice quality, c.1960s/1970s or so). I'm tuned ADGCEA (above EADGBE) for ease of use and I'm going to hate to see this instrument leave the shop, but c'est la vie.
