Highland Wildlife Park, Kingussie

Safari park display of Scotland's native fauna, present or past tense, video'd 1 July 2006. Red-legged partridge, oystercatcher and red squirrel seem wild. A good venue to get natural sequences of birds & animals difficult in the field eg hen capercaillie dust-bathing.

Puffins on the Farne Islands

Behaviour of puffins ( Fratercula arctica) on Staple Island 30 June 2006. Mostly loafing or flying in and out. Only one was carrying sandeels. One showed a muddy chest and bill, but most were immaculate, except one moving into winter plumage.

Konik horses in the Netherlands

These were originally from Poland, carefully selected from stock with characteristics of the wild horse or tarpan. They are now widely used as semi-wild horses in European nature reserves to manage the vegetation ecologically. These were video'd in the Netherlands on 21 January 2007 at their Oostvaardersplassen reserve on Flevoland.
