Beautiful Lennon song in which the hammer ons and pull offs follow the melody. First time sitar was heard in Western music. It preceded Paint It Black by a few months. In fact, it was George who introduced Brian Jones to the sitar. Strum pattern is D-DUDU(D=down,U=Up) but down strokes only on melody notes.
