"Georgia Buck" is a traditional song found in the repertoire of many african-american folk musicians like Elizabeth Cotton or Joe & Odell Thompson. This is my version with banjo and fiddle in hommage to the great black string-band music tradition.
I tried to play one of my favorite fiddle tune on the fiddle this time (i already uploaded a banjo version). I'm just into my second year at fiddling so it's far from perfect but i enjoy playing. For the guitar back-up, i avoid to play straight minor chords like many do for "Falls of Richmond". I really prefer the "eery sound" of major chords against a modal melody like this...
