This is the first prototype of a simple articulated robot arm being able to draw images. Unfortunately the construction principle implies the amplification of angular error in the servos, so it is not really usable for plotting exact images. Nevertheless, a nice Arduino programming & mechanics learning project.

My first Arduino sketch, sporting an RGB LED array, a mechanical brightness gauge and user-adjustable fading speed - all the basic stuff you'll want to learn in your first day of Arduino hacking. New RGB colors are choosen randomly. The program fades the leds to the new color and shows the brightness of the red LED on the mechanical gauge. Unfortunately the room is not dark enough to see the mixed RGB color through the diffusor. The video was recorded using VLC and a Logitech Webcam....
