RC Model plane witth camera - Gliding over Kippax fields - 08Nov09
Forward-facing video camera attached to a 100" balsa motor-glider. ~10sec motor run, some gliding, ~10sec motor run, then more tranquil thermal hunting. Impressive height at 1m45s. From Kippax fields, in Canberra, ACT. The propeller interferes with the camera while the propeller runs. The image is clear once the propeller is neatly folded against the fuselage. Turn down the volume - the audio is just wind noise.
