This is a Class 6 Rapid at the bottom of the Nantahala river. Kinda hard to see through all of the trees but this is a massive rapid and you are almost guaranteed a trip to the hospital if you try to go down it.

This is the view from the top of Standing Indian Mountain. My parents hiked up to the top to see the sunset and pitched the tent and were planning to watch the sunrise but they were not able to find the overlook in time. Our friend Matt Ostrega found it within a few minutes of getting to the top.
