Testing and installing a circa-1993 Sure-Lites LM1 emergency lighting unit. This light replaces a circa-1989 Lithonia ELM2 that died due to a burned-out capacitor on the circuit board. It just so happened to be the capacitor that made the lights turn on when AC power was cut to the unit. Luckily, the charger still worked, so I was able to just pop the battery into the Sure-Lites unit and install.
