12-14-09 Dominic Cicchino 3rd Fish This Week 8 Pound Bass.MOD
Just when you thought it was safe to stop fishing, the keeper bass keep coming in. We still got some anglers out there and they are scoring mostly on clams, but a few fish are still hitting on teasers. The water temps have been see-sawing between 48 and 51 depending on the air temps and the direction of the wind, but it's still prime bass water. If you have a break, get out there.

12-11-09 Brian Alesi 7 Pound 12 Ounce Bass.MOD
Brian and his fishing partner Dominic landed 2 other short bass along with this keeper. Dominic said there are still a ton of sandeels in the wash and the bass were rolling right in front of him at Area 10 this morning. They were really finicky today though.

Few anglers getting a few shorts. No 8 to 11 foot swells as reported on a local television station, but you never know a typhoon could hit at any moment.

12-10-09 Dominic Cicchino 8 Pound Bass.MOD
There are still lots of fish to be had. Dominic Cicchino weighed in his second fish in as many days as he says there are loads of small bass on avas as well. Talked to one of my other sources about what is going on up north and although I haven't heard of any fish, there is tons and tons of bunker still on their way here from the north and if we can keep some westerly wnds blowing, the surf should clean up nicely and who knows how long the run will last.

12-7-09 Dominick Cicchino 8 Pound 8 Ounce Bass.MOD
Everyone I talked to today had at least 1 short bass. Most guys had multiple fish. Frankie Z. and Johnny Green had at least 20 fish a piece with 1 keeper each and Frankie also has an 8 pound bluefish which means they are obviously still around and the water temps are such that this run is gonna last at least a couple more weeks.
