Beginning warm up at a clinic using no reins, partly to demonstrate to the audience that reins are not required for steering or halting (although I don't believe I show a halt in this video). Once the audience could clearly see that the horse could be warmed up without reins, the reins were picked up somewhat to prevent the swinging of them.
Leg yielding exercise done on a circle. I did not understand the exercise at first, but it was explained to me, and then I did manage the exercise.
Music being asked to do flexions and backing. Backing is very difficult for Music as her hind end is weak, but improving all the time.
Music cantering to the right, and video also contains some standing flexions. Music has difficulty with cantering as she is not yet strong enough in the hind end, but is improving all the time.
Work on left canter until completion of lesson with Music chewing out the reins. Canter is difficult for Music as she is weak behind, but this is improving.
