Part of Jess's drum solo for the 10/4/09 drum concert. Yes, part of it. :( My video-camera decided to malfunction and I could only salvage the last part of her solo. :(. you can't tell it too much from the video (unless you notice the umbrellas in the background), but we were playing in the rain! It was cool watching the spray come off the cymbals as they were hit. Don't see that in this video (it started raining harder just after she'd played, and the camera ate the time period at the ...

One of my daughters, nephew and brother-in-law. All three loved it. A cool, rainy day at the park got us a deal of $10/person vs. the normal $40, so this was a once-in-a-lifetime thing... :)

The 2nd number performed by the CTMS Jazz Choir on Dec 6th, 2008. This was Jess's first song with a latin-type beat... Not bad for as little practice as she had! :) Side Note: The bow for the cello somehow became misplaced between an earlier number (with a different choral group) and this one, so she finger-picked it. Too bad -- I heard her on the other number and she was good.

This was the first number for the CTMS Jazz Choir performance on Dec. 6th, 2008. Jess played drums for the choir. This number started out with her doing sleigh bells (which she did great at!), but I missed the beginning of the song (long story, but I got distracted). She'd only had a handful of practices with the choir!
