Since the closure of Santa Monica Muscle Beach in 1959 the tradition continued and the spark was kept alive and in 1989 the city Re-dedicated Muscle Beach once again Here we are on the flying rings a sport that was not aloud in competition.

Acrobatics/Gymnasrics has been part of Muscle Beach since 1934 Glenn Sundby started coming here in the early 1930, and in 1963 he promoted gymfest at the original muscle Beach location here is some of the great fun we all used to have and still do till today. At the end of the video Mark Davis gives Val dero high fives they where only 2 of 4 people who trew quads of the flying rings, while Jeff ( wild man) bailey almost has a heart attack trying to spot Val....
