Wood Striper Lure Building PT 4 (Cutting the lip slot then finishing the thru-drilling/wiring)

In this video im using my band saw to cut the slot for the metal lip. This is a very easy thing to do if you have a fence and a band saw. A larger bed would be alot more accurate but i have to work with what I have. I measure out exactly half the width of the stock wood and set my bandsaw for that measurement so my lip is directly in the middle of the stock (plug) After that is complete i cut off the remaining stock so i can fit my lip. Ok, here we go through the through wiring process, In this segment im using my lathe to drill the holes for my thru wire. You have to buy a drill chuck for your lathe to accomplish this. Wood Striper Lure Building PT 2 (Drilling Eyes / Belly Weight / Belly Grommet)

Ok, as you can see it took me another 12 days to follow up. The good news is I finished everything today with the exception of the sealing, priming, painting, wiring, those will come when i get back from cancun. Here we have the drilling of the belly grommet, the eyes and the belly weight hole.
