The use of Oils and Flavourings for Pike

During the second blank session in succession of the winter so far (bad run at the moment!) I take some time to explain the importance of flavouring baits in higly coloured water. We were on the Severn at Stourport after the deluge of rain late in November. As Cockermouth floundered under a foot of rain so the river Severn received a huge influx of water from the Welsh mountains. It was 8-9 feet up and flooded across the fields!
