I've been using this system for the past 25years and found it more reliable than using batteries or electric power, when I first made them I turned the valves out on a lathe and used magnets to latch the valve on and off. But now use plastic water timers with the clockwork removed and a balance arm on a short up-stand, this operates in the same way as the magnets and gives the arm a definite on and off position when it swings over center.

We took our SeaEagle Paddle Ski PS395 over to Kaiteriteri for a sail around the bay, the holiday makers had gone home so it was nice and peaceful, no water ski's and speed boats to worry about, stopped at the main beach for an ice cream.

Kaiteriteri is the main holiday beach in Tasman District, we went for a paddle around on our kayak and later walked over from Little Kaiteriteri to the main beach and watched the fun the power boat owners were having getting there boats out with one hour to go to low tide, videoed on a Canon HF10 at 1920x1080i and re-encoded to HD 720p with SuperC music is just stock music in the Corel ProX2 editing program
