COMSCC at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, first time driving solo. First practice session of the day, group 4, to set grouping times for the time trial. As always, I am in my 93 stock Corolla (1.6L, 3 spd auto). Note how at 2:50, I am coming into turn 9, overdo the trailbraking and the rear breaks loose - took a healthy bit of opposite steering lock around 2:57 to keep the car in control.

My first time trial with COMSCC at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, first day driving solo; track was dry, sun was setting. One warm-up and three hot laps; did a 1min38sec with my 93 stock Corolla (1.6L, 3 spd auto), that was 2nd in showroom stock C out of 2 contestants ;) and probably the slowest contestant time of the day - and I had a blast! Thanks to Marc for great teaching the day before, and everyone at COMSCC for the event!

Event in the rain. As usual, in my 93 stock Corolla, and my fastest time of the day. Yes, I am getting a bit excited in the end. This time, I was not alone: a very experienced autocrosser brought an *even older* Corolla that he inherited from his Grandma, and smoked the other much faster cars (and my slow one) by the dozen. It's not the car, it's the driver.

Long and wet track, taking a modest pace this time. Much of the time, I was stuck behind a car that went slow in the corners and did not point us by - but tons of fun regardless!!! At 0:45, I am struggling (and giving audio message thereof!) to resist passing in the corner (outlawed at track days) as I got a beautiful inside line exiting ...
