The first Domino Records debuted in 1917 and went out of business later that same year. They produced 7-inch vertical-cut disc records. The second, better known, Domino Records was in business from 1924 to 1933, producing standard 10-inch lateral cut 78s. The label was a subsidiary of Plaza Music. Plaza Music Company owned many labels besides Domino such as Jewel, Grey Gull, Banner, Conqueror, Ajax, Oriole, Cameo, Radiex, Regal, Romeo, and other dime store labels.
